Tour details
Since Mayan times, Cozumel has been a very important pilgrimage center. The island has always welcomed visitors from everywhere for its beauty and mysticism. In pre-Hispanic times the Maya crossed the sea in canoes to visit the goddess Ixchel. They arrived on the island just as our visitors still do today — only now they arrive in large floating hotels.
You’ll learn more than 500 years of history: how the Maya lived and where the Spanish first arrived on the island during the conquest.
We visit the largest archaeological site on the island, San Gervasio, and discover its beauty with a local guide. It is located mid-island, and the entrance fee is included in your tour price. The site’s archaeological staff also offer a guided tour; you can check their rates online.
Afterwards we visit the eastern side of the island, where you’ll admire the most beautiful landscapes of the Caribbean Sea. Ask your guide to stop at the most beautiful spots along the way to capture the best memories.
We stop at a restaurant on the seashore for some delicious Mexican fajitas, and you’ll also have the chance to snorkel from the shore and admire the beauty of the reefs.
Our last stop is a completely natural cenote. Your guide explains the different types of cenotes and how they form, and you can enjoy its beautiful, clear water. Don’t miss this unique experience in Cozumel!

Payment
A deposit of $10 USD per person holds your reservation. Paying in full before the tour is recommended; if you only paid the deposit, the balance is due at the time of the tour. Cash is preferred for the balance — US dollars or Mexican pesos at that day’s exchange rate — but card, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay also work.
Cancellation policy
Cancel at least 24 hours before the tour’s start time for a full refund. If you cancel less than 24 hours before, the amount you paid is not refunded, and changes within 24 hours can’t be accepted. Cut-off times follow Cozumel local time. The “No Tour, No Pay” guarantee still covers you if your ship doesn’t arrive.
Discover the island’s highlights with an expert local guide: your own Jeep, your own snorkel guide, Punta Sur’s lighthouse and the wild east coast — at your pace, not a caravan’s.
The island’s best spots by private Jeep, the wild east coast, a seaside lunch, snorkeling from the beach and 20 minutes riding the waves on a jet ski — included, not extra.
An off-road ride through virgin jungle to original Mayan caves and buildings, a 100% Mexican meal by the beach and a swim in an open cenote with an expert guide.
